  • Huski Marketing: Launching rebrand this month. Seeking beta testers for new software division aimed at streamlining operations and customer communication.
  • Zions Bank: Assisting businesses/startups with SBAs. Offering a $200 credit for business employees who set up personal accounts.
  • Cache Valley Bank: Undergoing a major remodel in Smithfield offices. Preston branch is holding an open house.

  • Green Box Solar: Hosting an educational dinner on federal/state solar incentives on February 7th at the Hive.
  • Host Huski: Partnering with Matt Veil for hosting/online services. Seeking connections with new or growing businesses. Revenue goal is to double last year’s $100,000.
  • Chamber Growth: President Simmons encouraged members to invite new business owners to join the Chamber.

  • Night of Giving Update: A YSA ward wrapped and delivered gifts to 11 families.
  • Easter Egg Hunt Logistics: Discussion regarding weather issues in previous years. Decision made to move the location from Mack Park to the Smithfield Rec Center. It will be outside if weather is good, and inside if there is rain/snow.

Action Items

  • Receipts: Turn in any Night of Giving receipts to Nicole.
  • Membership Dues: Submit dues to Nicole ($100 for store front; $25 for Home Business) to receive a window sticker.
  • Easter Egg Hunt: Provide eggs to be stuffed at the end of March.
  • Solar Dinner RSVP: RSVP for the Green Box Solar dinner (Feb 7) on their Facebook page.
